A 10-year-old iPad app holding up an entire insurance advisory business, rebuilt as a web platform. Faster, multi-device, and built for how advisors actually sell.
EzSub is Singlife's quotation and application platform for insurance advisors. The legacy version was iPad-only, single-product, and over a decade old. It worked. It just didn't scale.
The rebuild covered the front end and the back-end calculation engine behind quotations and premiums. Advisors can now work from any device: tablet, desktop, laptop. And instead of one product per application, they can quote, apply, and sign for multiple products in a single flow.
The result: a platform built for how advisors actually work, not how a 2013 iPad app assumed they would.

EzSub wasn't broken. It was just stuck. A decade-old iPad app carrying real advisors and real customers through real transactions, with no room left to grow.

Locked to one device. The legacy app only ran on iPad. Advisors without one, or away from one, were stuck. No desktop, no Android, no flexibility.

One product, one application, every time. Buying ten products meant creating ten separate applications and signing ten separate forms. Slow for advisors, worse for customers.

A legacy system carrying modern weight. Ten-plus years of accumulated logic for quotations and premium calculations, never rebuilt for a multi-product, multi-device world.
My Role
Part of the team behind the rebuild. Focused on the front-end advisor experience and the back-end calculation engine powering quotations and premiums.
